Airtel Partners With Lionsgate to Offer Hollywood Content on Xstream Platform

Bharti Airtel has announced a partnership with the American entertainment company Lionsgate to offer Lionsgate Play to its customers in India. The Airtel Xstream application and web platforms will provide Lionsgate movie content. It should be noted that the new partnership comes months after Vodafone Idea partnered with Starz of Lionsgate to bring Lionsgate Play to its subscribers through Vodafone Play and Idea Movies & TV applications. Available in mobile and web applications, the Airtel Xstream platform contains a catalog of more than 10,000 movies and programs along with 400 TV channels. But with the addition of Lionsgate Play, this catalog will be expanded with new content. The operator said in a statement that the content of Lionsgate will be available in several Indian languages, distributed in different genres such as action, comedy, drama, horror and action.

The premiere of Lionsgate Play includes franchises such as Hunger Games, Twilight Saga and La La Land, winner of an Oscar, as well as international successes such as Wonder. In addition, there are popular films such as American Assassin, Robin Hood, The Spy Who Dumped Me, A Favorite, Saban Power Rangers, Divergent, Now You See Me 2, Gods of Egypt, Letters To Juliet and Reservoir Dogs.
